These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Samatva Design Studio (“we,” “our,” or “us”), including architecture, and interior design services. By accessing or using our services, and website, or engaging with us for a project, you agree to these Terms. In addition, these Terms, our services will be subject to the Project Agreement (as defined below).

Services Offered

We provide following services:

Architectural design;
Interior design and styling; and
Project consultation and planning.

All services are customized based on client requirements, scope, budget, and site conditions.

Engagement and Scope of Work

Clients are required to sign an agreement (“Project Agreement”) or approve a proposal that outlines the specific services, deliverables, timelines, and payment terms before we start the work.

Any modifications to the original scope must be requested in writing by the client and such modifications may result in additional charges.

Consultations and Site Visits

Provide accurate information and requirements for the project;
Make timely payments as per the agreed schedule in Project Agreement;
Respond to our design drafts and revision requests promptly;
Obtain necessary permissions, licenses, or approvals where applicable (e.g., municipal permissions for construction).

Design Ownership and Intellectual Property

All concepts, sketches, drawings, layouts, and designs created by Samatva Design Studio remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the final design for the agreed project only. Reproduction, resale, or reuse of designs without written permission is strictly prohibited.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide accurate information and requirements for the project;
Make timely payments as per the agreed schedule in Project Agreement;
Respond to our design drafts and revision requests promptly;
Obtain necessary permissions, licenses, or approvals where applicable (e.g., municipal permissions for construction).

Payments and Fees

A booking or advance payment is required to initiate work.
Full payment schedules will be outlined in the proposal or Project Agreement.
Late payments may attract interest charges or suspension of services as further elaborated in Project Agreement.

Timelines and Delays

We strive to adhere to timelines; however, delays may occur due to:

Client-side delays in providing feedback, materials, or approvals;
Unforeseen site conditions or third-party dependencies; or
Changes in scope of work or design by the client.

Samatva Design Studio will not be liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control. Please refer to the Project Agreement for more details.

Limitation of Liability
Samatva Design Studio will not be liable for:
• Any direct or indirect damages arising from design implementation errors by third-party contractors;
• Outcomes of Vaastu recommendations;
• Any decisions made by the Client outside of our professional advice.
Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question. Please refer to the Project Agreement for more details on our limitation of liability.

Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with Indian Laws and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts at Delhi.

Amendments

Samatva Design Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
